John McDouall Stuart was initiated into Freemasonry in the Lodge of Truth #933 English Constitution on 1st August 1859. This Lodge met in North Adelaide.

Re-enactment of Stuart’s arrival at Owen Springs and Concert Print E-mail
Whilst heavy rains forced the relocation to Simpsons Gap, the rain stayed away during the re-enactment of the arrival of John McDouall Stuart, William Kekwick and Benjamin Head at Owen Springs on 11 April 1860. A concert followed featuring Bloodwood and Ted Egan.

Congratulations to Stuart Traynor and all involved on a superb afternoon.
